Geeze

Sometimes I can barely even believe myself!  Mike and I just left our hostel in Fukuoka this morning, and I forgot my necklace that he got me for my birthday last year there.  Of course I was upset, but I gave them a call when we arrived here in Beppu and they said they would send it off to Khaosan Tokyo for us (somewhere we stayed before and are staying again).  It’s a good thing that everyone here in Japan is so nice!  If I left it in China I probably wouldn’t get it back.

Anyways, Beppu looks like it’s going to be a pretty great place to hang out, Mike is even thinking that we should spend an extra two days here and take two days off our return trip to Kyoto.  I’m thinking maybe it would be a good idea…there’s lots of onsens here, and our room is really nice and really cheap – our place in Kyoto is going to cost twice as much as here.  Plus we get to do our laundry for free here!  Anyways, just a little interlude on our travel day, hopefully I’ll have something more interesting to write about soon.
